The Invention of Automatic Robot Vacuum Cleaning Prototype for Smartphone Controlled

Abstract


This paper presents the invention of automatic robot vacuum cleaning
prototype for smartphone controlled. Using the principle of sensor to detect for protect
bump between automatic robot vacuum cleaning and object. This method is used to control
the distance and the movement of robot. The automatic robot
vacuum cleaning is composed of two main parts. First, the Arduino Ethernet board is
used to the processor of robot, router is used to communicate between the
Arduino Ethernet board and smartphone on wireless network, the motor drive,
ultrasonic sensor used for detect object. And infrared sensor to prevent falling from a
height. The second part consists of programs used to control the robot automatically
and control the robot manually via smartphone over wireless. In experiments, the
automatic robot vacuum cleaning can clean up to 93% of working area.
